Student Welfare Support Worker
Oldham District CAB as one of the country’s most progressive and dynamic advice centres has developed, in partnership with Oldham College, an advice service to students.
We seek to appoint an enthusiastic and forward thinking advice worker who can clearly demonstrate an understanding of student advice needs.
If you have:
· Proven experience in post-basic CAB basic training advice
· Competency in the key areas of welfare benefits, money advice and housing
We can offer:
· A 10 hour working week
· Pay £8.50 per hour
This post is funded until March 2010 and offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a professional team employing 34 paid staff supported by 35 volunteers. We offer a friendly and supportive working environment with excellent opportunities for training and development.
